Teen Driver's Education

Teen Driver's Education

Everything your teen needs to get on the road safely

Our Teen Driver’s Education course fulfills Washington’s requirements for new drivers. Students must be 15 years old by the first day of class. We teach the good habits that last a lifetime: the rules of the road, vehicle handling, sharing the road, hazard and risk management, and how to handle emergencies and adverse conditions. Ready to enroll? See upcoming dates and current pricing on our Services page.

The course includes 30 hours of classroom instruction (fifteen 2-hour classes), 5 hours of behind-the-wheel practice driving, and 1 hour of back-seat observation. Behind-the-wheel lessons are scheduled outside of classroom hours.

A parent orientation is held during the first hour of the first lesson of each Teen Driver’s Education course.

Students can get a driver’s permit before age 15½ with a waiver from a driving school showing they are already enrolled in a Teen Driver’s Education course.
